Memorial Day

To the mothers and the fathers,

to the daughters and the sons.

To the wives and to the husbands,

to the sisters and the brothers,

to the girlfriends and the boyfriends,

and most importantly,

to those who sacrificed all to give us our freedom

to live in the greatest nation in the world.

I remember and honor you today,

and if I am worthy of this life that you have sacrificed yours for,

I remember you every day.
